Comedy Of Errors

With music drawing on a wide range of influences from classical to rock, Comedy Of Errors pack a lot into their songs; each track treats the listener to a thought-provoking musical journey through the experiences provided in the lyrics and musical forms.

After a long absence from the scene, Comedy of Errors re-formed in 2010 and have been busy increasing their profile since then, gigging at venues in the UK and Europe and appearing on the bill at several UK prog festivals such as Summers End and the Cambridge Rock Festival. They are excited and delighted to add the USA to the growing list.

Since reforming, the band has also released 3 albums: Disobey (2011), Fanfare and Fantasy (2013), and most recently, Spirit (October 2015).

Spirit is the band’s most musically ambitious album so far, constituting a major step forward in the band’s development by dealing with themes of grief, loss and ultimately, hope. The cornerstone of the album is a 45-minute unbroken piece taking the form of an emotional journey at once personal and universal, despairing and uplifting.

Based near Glasgow, Scotland, Comedy of Errors includes Joe Cairney (Vocals), John Fitzgerald (Bass), Bruce Levick (Drums), Jim Johnston (Keyboards), Sam McCulloch (Guitar) and Mark Spalding (Guitar).

2016 is looking to be a busy and a big year for Comedy Of Errors as work gets underway on album 4 and the calendar fills up with more and more gigs. Not forgetting Rosfest 2016, of course!! Bring it on!!
